Singing News Fan Awards

Dear Friends,

We returned home from National Quartet Convention earlier this week and played catch-up on office work and also some rest before we hit the road again Friday morning.

Last week was a fantastic week and a very eventful one for us. We are so glad we had an opportunity to meet many of you for the first time and get reacquainted with those of you we haven't seen in a while.

We apologize for not sending this Thank You out sooner but we hope that each and every one of you know how much we sincerely appreciate your outpouring of love and support in the voting of the Singing News Fan Awards. The Booth Brothers won six awards in all and we were humbled by the tremendous results. We still can't believe how expressive so many of you have been with cards and emails of congratulations.

We also understand that it isn't about bringing glory to us but our ministry is about bringing honor and glory to our Lord!! All praise belongs to Him and Him alone!! We consider it a privilege to be able to sing southern gospel music and to minister to you.

Keep watching the website for pictures and videos from the entire week, including the night of the Awards. You may also visit our YouTube channel, www.Youtube.com/theboothbrothers, to view highlights of the awards ceremony. Be sure, while you're there, to check out the "tour" Michael & Jim give you of their bunks on the bus.

Please Pray

Please Pray...

We returned home from NQC to learn of several things that need fervent prayer. We learned that our uncle, Jim Booth, and his family have experienced total devastation to their homes due to Hurricane Ike. Uncle Jim pastors Island Community Church in Galveston, and the church has experienced complete devastation as well. We are thankful that Uncle Jim and his wife and family survived the storm but they do need our prayers. Please pray for them and their church congregation as well as the rest of the hurricane victims over the coming weeks.

We also learned on Monday that our cousin Charles and his wife were in a serious motorcyle accident and are suffering from numerous broken bones and several injuries but we praise the Lord that they are alive. Please pray that the Lord will grant them a full and speedy recovery.

Ronnie's brother-in-law, Andy, has been hospitalized for several days with a very serious bacterial infection, MRSA, which required surgery. Please pray that the doctors were able to remove all of the infection. Andy will remain hospitalized for several more days while the doctors determine the extent of the damage. Ronnie's wife, Kim, is there helping with her newborn niece. Please keep Andy, his wife and their new baby in your prayers.

We know that many of you are also dealing with heavy burdens and health problems but thankfully we know the Great Physician. Satan would love for us, as Christians, to be discouraged but we can all rest on God's promises and we can take Him at His Word!!!

This newsletter will be a short one but we didn't want to go any longer without saying THANK YOU to all of you for your support in the Fan Awards and also for the enormous outpouring of cards and emails of congratulations!! YOU make it worth getting on that bus every week.

From Michael, Ronnie and Jim...we love you!!!
