Dear Friends,

As you observe this Memorial Day remember that we are one nation UNDER GOD, and a great price was and is still being paid for our freedom. If you have lost a loved one in defense of our country it is our prayer that you know that millions of people in this great nation of ours DO appreciate the price your loved one paid. To all of you who are veterans of our armed forces - THANK YOU for serving your country and protecting our freedom!!!

  • In the Past Few Weeks...
Well, we've returned from our East-West Coast Tour. It was a great trip as we got to see many of the friends we made last year and made some new ones along the way. We also were able to see some beautiful country as we drove through the Rockies - but after 48 hours of solid driving on the way home we were VERY glad to be off that bus!!!

    "Welcome to the Family"
Since we've been home we've been in the studio finishing up our first Daywind project and starting another Booth Brother project. Many of you have been emailing and calling about our radio single "Welcome to the Family" which debuted at No. 26. That single is from our Daywind project - Room For More - which will be in your Christian retailer soon. The release date on this project has been pushed back a little and we anticipate its availability to be late in the summer. Stay tuned to our newsletters and website for more information.

    Photo Galleries
Many of you may be wondering why some of the photos you are sending us are not showing up in our photo galleries. We are currently having some difficulty with the program that allows you to view our pictures clearly. Please bear with us as our website master works to resolve these issues. We are keeping all the pictures you email to us and we will upload as many as we can as soon as the problem is resolved.

    Thank You to Donnie Cox...
Flint Central Church of the Nazarene
On May 18 we performed in Flint, Michigan and the event was organized by a promoter by the name of Donnie Cox. There was a tremendous turn-out for the concert and we had a wonderful time!

That evening Donnie surprised us with a special presentation that started with honoring all of the veterans that were present in the service. Folks, there were over 100 veterans that congregated in the front of the sanctuary and many more who were unable to get to the front. It was a very moving and humbling sight, but if that weren't enough, Donnie surprised us in a HUGE way!

He invited a very important person in our Judicial branch to present us with some very special items. Michigan Supreme Court Justice Stephen Markman read aloud a letter from President and Laura Bush addressed to the Booth Brothers and a flag that was flown over the U. S. Capitol Building on April 7th in our honor. The presentation ended with the flag being raised while a medley of "Oh Beautiful" and "God Bless America" played. We were stirred to tears from the pride we felt of being able to say that we are AMERICANS and for receiving this very special honor!!! We cannot tell you what a thrill this was for us and how moved we were to be presented with these treasures.

Thank you to the Honorable Stephen Markman for taking time out of his busy schedule to be there and present us with these treasured keepsakes. Thank you to Donnie, and his wife Judy, for putting on a first class event and for making it a night WE will never forget!!

    Donnie Cox

Singing NewsThank You for Nominating Us...
We'd like to thank you, our friends and loved ones, for allowing us to make the Top 5 nominees in nine categories of the 2008 Singing News Fan Awards. We were honored to be named Group of the Year in 2007 and we never cease to be amazed by the overwhelming love and support by all of you. Ministry can be lonely and exhausting at times but we feel that what we do is important for believers and non-believers and that is bringing a message of hope and encouragement through Christ. You all make it worth every minute!!

    Come Sail with Us...
    February 9-14, 2009

We have been receiving scores of requests for brochures for the 2009 Singing at Sea Cruise. There are still cabins available but don't delay...Templeton Tours has received a tremendous response. As many of you know, we are trying to beat our own record from last year for number of guests traveling with the Booth Brothers. We would love to have you join us. There will be some special things planned for those who travel with us. Make your plans now to be a part of this fun time.

You may request a brochure by emailing us at Cruise Brochure Request or by calling the office at 866-72-BOOTH (866-722-6684). Remember to include your name and address in your email request.

Dottie RamboIn closing we want to mention how saddened we were at the news of Dottie Rambo's Homegoing. Our hearts rejoice with her that she is no longer in pain and she sits at the feet of her Lord about whom she wrote so many songs, but we will miss her dearly. Please keep the family in your prayers and continue to pray for her manager Larry Ferguson, her bus driver, Ronnie Meadows and product manager Chris Barnes.

We should close for now, folks, but once again, thank you for all the love and support, for the emails of encouragement and for lifting us up in your prayers.

    Because of Him,

    The Booth Brothers
